if only in my dreams

It is close to 100 degrees today. I'm wearing the thinnest tank top I can find, and the banana tree out my bedroom window is gently shifting in the breeze. I [skipped Mannheim Steamroller] and am listening to the Elvis version of "Silver Bells" at this moment. I finished putting up what will be the extent of my Christmas decorations, thanks to my dear friend Rebekah, who mailed me pretty Ikea ornaments last year. I am simultaneously preparing for a World AIDS Day presentation on Monday.

Weird weird weird. But also good.

i took the picture with my mac - just turned it around and used photo booth. i guess that's why it looks that way?

haha, thanks for the mannheim steamroller offer, but i have plenty. for me, it just doesn't compare to, say, Bing Crosby. (come to think of it, i'd even choose stevie wonder motown christmas over MS.)

I HOPE WE CAN STILL BE FRIENDS!

are you guys in africa yet?

re: can we still be friends??? well... ummmm... i happen to be a long time closet MS fan. they were actually my very first live concert back in the day!

we're still planning to bring shawshank! you got the coke and popcorn?

btw - the petzl e+ is a killer little headlamp, eh? i have one too. mention that in the same post as U2 and you went and got me all worked up! i'm kinda simple like that.
